Becky Dawson is the artist and illustrator of One Lane Road. Living on a slice of country heaven just outside Portland, Oregon, with her husband, daughters, cats, dog, a giant treehouse, and Bigfoot sculpture planted firmly in the front yard. Her work is shaped by happy accidents, 1980s fantasy, nature,  joyful moments of everyday life, humor, and curiosity. As a third-generation Oregonian, Becky is deeply rooted in Pacific Northwest culture and constantly inspired by the forests, towns, and people of the place she calls home. She works from two home studios. In one, she paints and draws. In the other, she runs a devoted ceramics studio, happily squishing clay into whimsical sculptures.
